Davis Motomiya, known in Japan as Daisuke Motomiya (本宮 大輔 Motomiya Daisuke), is the main character in the Digimon Adventure 02 anime series. He is partnered to Veemon. He's extremely stubborn in personality. He also has a ditzy and cheerful older sister named June, who has a fangirly crush on Matt Ishida but backs off when she learns that he has feelings for Sora Takenouchi, crushing on Joe Kido's older brother Shuu instead. After rescuing Kari from a Monochromon, Tai handed Davis his goggles to replace Davis's broken ones and signify his new place as leader. Although he often rushes into things and makes mistakes, his courage in the face of outstanding odds cannot be denied. No matter how dire the situation, he always believes that they can somehow make it through. There is certainly no one more suited to the Digi-Egg of Courage than Davis. Early on, he claims not to know what friendship is but his later actions prove that he is truly the one worthy of the Digi-Egg of Friendship. He also has a slight resemblance to Tai, which T.K. notes in the first episode
Davis is always getting into trouble about his intense jealousy towards anyone he sees as a rival for Kari's affections, not the least of whom is T.K., even calling him by the wrong name (in the Japanese version, Davis actually calls T.K. by his proper name). A little later, Davis was playing in a soccer match against the famous Ken and injured his ankle in a tackle. In retaliation, Ken (as the Digimon Emperor) had Davis degrade himself, threatening to feed the DigiDestined to Deltamon. However, the real DigiDestined appeared, revealing the deception. Ken vows to take over the world, but Davis tackles him in a scuffle. During the fight, Davis recognizes a familiar cut on the Emperor's leg. Defeated, Ken reveals that he is the Digimon Emperor and flies off.
During the final battle with Kimeramon, Davis attempted to locate the engine room and was led there by Wormmon, who was equally determined to save Ken from himself. Davis discovered that the base's power source was the Digi-Egg of Miracles, which he used to Armor Digivolve Veemon to Magnamon. When Davis unlocks the egg, Veemon notices that a crest is inside of it, which is later revealed to be Ken's Crest of Kindness. Although Magnamon is powerful, it is only when Wormmon sacrifices himself that he has the energy to defeat Kimeramon. Davis and the others finally make Ken realize that Digimon were real, living things, not just computer data.

By the year 2027, Davis achieves his dream to open his own noodle cart and it became a huge success. There are now "noodle noodle come get your noodle" carts all over the world. His entrepreneurship earns him a place on magazine covers around the globe. He is wealthy, married and has a son, who looks exactly like his father, inherits Taichi Kamiya's goggles, and has a DemiVeemon.

Digimon Adventure 02!!!!

We will start one by one according to this:

Hikari Yagami or as you all known as Kari Kamiya, the sister of Taichi Yagami is the last DigiDestined to arrive. She was supposed to go to summer camp as well as the other DigiDestined but unfortunately stuck at home with a flu. This character is kind and sweet-hearted, always looking for the best in people, and avoids fighting them when possible. She can be serious, especially in drastic situations!!! Her digimon is Gatomon, which is separated from the others by Myotismon's attack. Her trait is Crest Of Light. She was voiced by Lara Jill Miller in the English dub and Kae Araki in the Japanese.

When in Digimon Adventure 02, Kari had grown. Instead of her whistle(that she gave to Gatomon) around her neck, now she has a camera. She now is more mature, perkier and braver. She likes taking pictures,sometimes playing practical jokes and teasing her friends. Because Davis has a crush on her, she often teases him by flirting with Takeru and ignoring him talking(TK doesn't mind-also the reason why Davis hates him).

By the year 2027, Kari became a kindergarten teacher and a son who has a Salamon. This picture resembles Kari and her son. However, her spouse is unknown.

Takeru Takaishi

Takeru Takaishi, the youngest in the DigiDestined before Kari arrived. However, he was independent, only Yamato Ishida(his brother) worries too much. In the English dub, they were said as half brothers but they are really real brothers. How? Simple. When they were little, their parents divorced. It somehow many much affected Yamato but not to Takeru maybe because he was just little when that happened. This kid was voiced by Hiroko Konishi in the first Digimon Adventure in Japanese while he was voiced by Wendee Lee in the English dub.

Takeru was also the first one to lose his digimon during the battle between Angemon and Devimon. Angemon successfully defeated Devimon but ended up dissapearing and turning into a Digi-Egg. He also succeeded to proving to the other DigiDestined by taking a critical shot to defeat Puppetmon and got out of his house. He has the Digimon Patamon which is one of the Angel Digimon(which will later turn to Angemon) and also the bearer of the Crest Of Hope.

In the second digimon series, Takeru is still among one of the second group of DigiDestined with Kari. He now has gotten taller from his original size. This time, he was voiced by Taisuke Yamamoto in Japan and Doug Erholtz in the English dub. At the start of April, he and his mother moved to Odaiba, with Takeru attending Odaiba Elementary in the same class as Davis and his good friend Kari. Because he and Kari are already good friends, Takeru immediately becomes the rival (and sometimes friend) of a paranoid Davis. He doesn't mind actually. But Davis never listens to him(maybe because of Kari).



By the year 2027, Takeru became an author writing a book all about their experiences in Digimon(kind of like his diary when he writes them, he is also the narrator for the Epilogue). He is now married, and has a son who has a Tokomon.

Jyou Kido, or in the English dub was thought as Joe Kido(actually the same only each of the series). Joe is the eldest among all of the DigiDestined so he felt he was in charge of everything for the fact that he is the most clumsiest among all(You must thought he should be the leader not Tai). He, in the Japanese has two brothers named Shiin and Shuu. But, in the English dub, Shiin and Shuu was combined to be Jim(a brother only. His father planned for him and his brother(s) to each of them being a doctor following the tradition of his family.

Joe is always worried about his sorrounding and so received the Crest Of Reliability. His digimon would be Gommamon the always cheerful and always tells him to look on the bright side of everything, and he was voiced by Masami Kikuchi in Japanese and Michael Lindsay in English dub.

When Joe was in the second series, he was already 15 years old and always can't make it to the meetings because of his tests. He was hardworking into finding him a college. So, his appearence wasn't always in the second series.


By the year 2027, Joe became a doctor for Digimon(almost close to what his father wanted) although his patients kept eating his tongue depressers. He has a son who has a Bukamon but his wife is never mentioned(ever). His brother, is working with Izzy and Professor Takenouchi to find out more about the Digital World. His tradition, has continued.

Koushiro Izumi or betterly known as Izzy Izumi, right here is 10 years old which is in the same age as Mimi Tachikawa. Koushiro is a computer expert and spends a lot of his time with his computer instead of his family. This is because one night, he heard his adoptive parents talking about his real parents died in a car crash. Starting that moment, he decided to distance himslf from his parents and focusing on his computer. The problem is now resolved when his parents come forward with the truth and he accepts them as his true parents. He was voiced by Umi Tenjin in the Japanese and Mona Marshall in the English dub. His partner digimon is Tentomon,which he nicknamed him Tento.

Izzy Izumi, now is the president of the computer club in his school. He is the one who often gives information to the other DigiDestined like when is the portal opened, he will alert them. With Willis, he figured out that the new digivices has 3 new functions which lead him to the name: D-3. And so, he oftenly uses the school's computer lab to move in and out of the computer lab.

By the year 2027, Izzy starts up a new research team to study more of the Digital World than what the human population has already knows. He has a daughter, who has a motimon. Izzy's wife isn't mentioned.

Mimi Tachikawa(my sister is her fan) is knownly described as spoiled,ditzy,vain, prissy girl who complains a lot, sensitive, caring, artsy, and sweet(all in one breath). She often talks about shopping and fashion, and known as the innocent one!

Mimi's partner digimon would be Palmon(who is almost the same as she is) and she holds the Crest of Sincerity( Because she is always open-minded about everything). She is voiced by Ai Maeda in Japanese and Philece Sampler in English dub.

During Digimon Adventure 02, a portal to the Digital World opens in the United States, allowing Mimi to access the Digital World. How she can enter is never revealed; the original Digivice cannot open a gate. In addition to the clothing changes, she also changes her hair color as well. Also, although stated only in the Japanese version, Mimi returns to Japan to attend her cousin's wedding.

By the year 2027, Mimi becomes very famous and well loved because of her very popular cooking show that is also broadcasted world wide. Palmon likes to help Mimi on her cooking show, but she is as always clumsy to do so. Mimi has a son who looks totally like her. Her son has a Tanemon. To whom she is married, is never been told.

Yamato Ishida or better known as Matt Ishida starts out as a secretive loner.He is 11 years old,which is as the same age as Tai and Sora. In the digimon series, he also has a younger brother named TK Takaishi. In the English dub, they were known as half brothers because of their family name are different. Turns out, that Matt has the same mom and dad as TK does. After knowing this, he starts to be very protective to TK. He often acts harsh whenever TK is in trouble. He was voiced by Yuuto Kazama in the Japanese and Micheal Reisz in the English dub.

In the series, he always liked better to be alone than being with others except his brother,TK. In an episode, TK has succesfully acts mature so he thought of leaving the DigiDestined. But sooner, they catch up with him, and learn to fit in with the others. He is also the bearer of The Crest Of Friendship.( I never know why ). His partner digimon is Gabumon,who is always loyal to him, and very loving.

In the second series,Matt, who is now 14 years old, became a vocalist and the bass player for a rock band called "The Teenage Wolves" . He was very popular and many girls always came up running to him to get his autograph as if he is a celebrity. Now, he no longer has an unhealthy relationship with Tai. FYI, one of the DigiDestined, Davis Motomiya has a sister who also is one of the fans of Matt. He always lied to her so that the secret that Davis is a DigiDestined won't be revealed.

One time,when he was going to tell Davis's family,that Davis will be gone for a while(which is a lie),Jun said that she knew that he was lying and blackmailed him into going on a date. She also wanted to go camping with him, but he lied to her again and left her behind. Unfortunately,she succeeded tracking him down to the campground herself.

By the year 2027,Matt and Gabumon became an astronaut and became the first man and digimon to land on Mars though they were supposed to land on Moon. He now, married Sora and now has a daughter and a son.
